Submissions

The Dublin University Journal of Criminology is published annually, in early Spring.

Submissions are now open for Volume IV of the journal, and will close on February 16th at 23.59.

The Journal welcomes the submission of articles from undergraduates and postgraduates from third-level institutions on the island of Ireland. Submissions should be related to the field of Criminology and/or associated fields of Penology, Victimology, Criminal Justice and Criminal Law.

​

Submissions are restricted to a maximum of 8000 words (exclusive of footnotes but inclusive of in-text references) and they should be typed using 1.5 spacing, Times New Roman font and size 12 font. Submissions should be referenced preferably using the OSCOLA style, but we will also accept Harvard referencing. We ask that you only submit one piece of work.

Submissions for Volume IV are currently open. They will close at 23.59 on Friday 16th February 2024.

Submissions should be accompanied by a cover sheet which can be downloaded by clicking here. Submissions may be sent by email to du.journalofcriminology@gmail.com.
