Our Events
Annual Launch
Our main event each year is the launch of our new volume. Volume V was launched in April 2025 at Trinity College Dublin, and was attended by Mr Saoirse Brady, Executive Director of the Irish Penal Reform Trust.
In previous years, we have had the honour of welcoming former Garda Ombudsman Commissioner Kieran Fitzgerald, Ivana Bacik TD, Mr Justice Peter Charleton and Mr Justice Gerard Hogan.

On 27th November 2023, we interviewed our Honorary President Ivana Bacik on her interest in criminology, her research on feminist criminology and on current affairs including the Dublin riots, Irish neutrality, drugs policy, sex work and more. Thank you to our Editorial Board for organising the event, to our Design Editor Channing Kehoe for taking such wonderful photos, and for the audience for asking such insightful questions.
